About Snarkclaw
Snarkclaw ties together my various projects, hobbies, and random thoughts. Posts often contain news, art supply reviews, sketches, and other snippets, including comic updates for Deer Me. |
About Me
I like comics so much that I run my own ongoing comic, Deer Me, and have plans for two other comics, Sharpclaw, a fantasy comic, and And They Lived, a fairy-tale-based comic. |

What are some dry inks you have used with these ink rollers by Kaweco. I am expecting 2 in the mail this week. I would appreciate knowing which inks to get for them so as to save time and money. Thanks
Thanks for asking! I found Platinum Carbon black ink and Britannia's Blue Waves ink (from the Noodler's United Kingdom Eternal series) too dry for fountain pens, but quite lovely in the Kaweco ink rollers. The good folks at Writers Bloc found Noodler's Aircorp Blue-Black ink to work well in ink rollers and some members of The Fountain Pen Network find that the Noodler's nations (UK, Russia, etc.) Eternal series are dry for fountain pens, but work well in Kaweco ink roller pens. So, those are good starting points. Let me know if you try any of those and how they work for you!
